Im Folgenden werden neben Grundlagen zur Bevölkerungsentwicklung auf die aktuelle Situation des Pariser Wohnungsmarktes und die politische Regulation dessen eingegangen. Die Sozialstruktur der Region steht dabei in enger Verbindung mit den Charakteristika des Wohnungsmarktes.
