Wissenschaftliche Studie aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Journalismus, Publizistik, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im TV-Programm der öffentlich-rechtlichen TV-Anbieter haben Gottesdienstübertragungen seit Jahrzehnten ihren Platz – entweder als im festen Rhythmus platzierte Serie oder als anlassgebundene Programmangebote.

Im Unterschied zu anderen »Leisten« sind Gottesdienstübertragungen aber bisher noch immer kein originäres Fernsehformat geworden. Die Gestaltung solcher Übertragungen folgt einerseits den Gepflogenheiten und Wünschen der jeweils zuständigen Redakteure und Regisseure, andererseits den Handreichungen der Kirchen und ihrer Beauftragten bei den Programmanbietern.

Der zu erarbeitende Entwurf einer Konzeption für ein konsistentes und erkennbares Format dieser Sendungen soll die jeweiligen Positionen offen legen und in die als Zielsetzung zu betrachtende Formatgestaltung einbringen. Die zugehörige Forschungsfrage lautet: »Welche Kommunikationsziele und welche Regiestile können dazu beitragen, die Gottesdienstübertragungen im Fernsehen als Formate im Sinne sowohl der Ereignisanbieter als auch der Medienanbieter handhaben und festschreiben zu können?«

Insofern ist dieser Entwurf als eine Aufgabenstellung zur Formatbildung zu verstehen, die hiermit nicht als erreicht betrachtet wird. Er ist als Anstoß zur weiteren wissenschaftlichen Diskussion und zum praktischen Umsetzen angelegt.
