LightStudio on location & Soft Lighting is the second program in our series on lighting - a natural continuation which focuses on mixed exterior and soft lighting.

The user is given the opportunity to simulate lighting in six different studios, or lighting situations. There are four for exterior lighting (including mixed light) and two for interior lighting in a studio (soft lighting and computer-controlled lighten changes).

The exterior section features a variety of practice situations: one in strong sunlight, one in shadow, and a night scene. In the night scene, the user can choose between working wit ha camera set for daylight of tungsten light - a factor that affects colour temperature according to choice.

In addition to being able to select filters, the user can choose among a variety of different lighting sources and also easily increase or reduce the distance of the light source to the subject. The soft lighten studio is based on a scene from a Swedish TV drama series; here the user works with different models for soft lighting. In the studio for making lighting changes, the user has access to a computer-controlled lighten console and can pre-program his or her own lighten based on a live entertainment show. The changes in lighting can then be repeated in real time, accompanied by music.
