In der folgenden Ausarbeitung sollen diese Faktoren, speziell im Hinblick auf den Ansatz Senge`s „Die fünfte Disziplin“ erläutert werden.

Zunächst werden wir nach einer Beschreibung von Organisationstheorien auf den Begriff Organisationsentwicklung näher eingehen. Hierbei soll ein erster Bezug zur lernenden Organisation hergestellt werden. Nachdem wir den komplexen Ansatz einer lernenden Organisation von Argyris / Schön näher untersuchen, wird das Konzept der fünf Disziplinen von Senge erläutert. Den Abschluss bildet ein Praxisabgleich, innerhalb dessen wir Parallelen zwischen einem am Markt agierenden Unternehmen zu einer lernenden Organisation nach Senge’s Auffassung erörtern möchten.
